the perks & trade-offs
the perks:
> a more linient working time (honesty based log-in system)
> generous provision of office resources (laptop/s, service phone-n93i, service sim-unlimited usage, etc.)
> wonderful employee benefits for me and my family
> training opportunities - local and abroad
> very down to earth executives
> nice boss
and the trade-offs:
> can't play my music on my booster speakers
> have to walk a long way going to the mall/ gym
hmmmm....can hardly believe that the perks overweighed the trade-offs. i am actually working on my dream job. parang too good to be true. and sometimes i even ask myself if i really deserve this. been working hard for more than 10 years and its only now that i am this comfortable in my working environment.
now ko lang na-enjoy yung balance of work and family life. i actually have time to take care of my kids. pagdating sa bahay i can still teach them in their assignments, guide them in their projects, cook meals for them, go out with friends, go to the gym, etc.
my weekends i can spend with my kids or working on my sideline. talk abt having the best of both worlds.
