wowie. last week was info overload week. went thru the usual process walk thru from HR and other groups that i have interface with. my initial assessment - i'm going to enjoy my work here. hehehe

very challenging. to be a part of a quasi new company. although the company where both businesses came from are already old in the industry, merging them of course calls for re-evaluating the existing processes and tailor fitting them to the new business. the integration of the financial data itself is already a big challenge. hopefully by 2009 the consolidation of the data will be smooth flowing by then.

i don't think i will be having problems in terms of blending in with the people around. they are all really nice and very accommodating. my trade off lang siguro here is not being able to play my music loud. hehehe super quiet nakakahiya mag-ingay. my laptop speakers is all i can manage to use right now.

on the homefront naman, i am getting in the groove in preparing meals for my kids. i try to prepare at least one meal during the weekend. my son said i should do the cooking na lang everyday. lagot! hahaha

as to my sideline naman, quite busy lapit na filing ng 2nd quarter ITR and quarterly vat report. toxic na naman. buti na lang may laptop hindi na ako makikipag-agawan with my kids sa PC. i just have to work out on installing a wi-fi router so i can access internet as well and also SAP.
